Deformation Behavior and Microstructural Evolution of Inconel 625 Superalloy during the Hot Compression Process

Hot deformation behavior and the microstructural evolution of Inconel 625 superalloy plates are investigated by hot compression tests in a range working temperatures (800–1050 °C) strain rates (0.001–1 s−1). The observation shows that strong <110> texture forms when processing temperature is below 950 °C, whose intensity decreases with increases temperature, it disappears compressing above °C. During test, twin-related dynamic recrystallization (DRX) occurs range, DRX temperature. In addition, as increases, continuum decreases.
